Seda Centrio Exec finalist in Manager Category

The Seda Hotel Group won three of the five awards which recognizes outstanding employees of the Philippine’s hospitality industry during the 26th Mabuhay Awards held at The Westin Manila on November 27, 2023 with the theme “Ako ay Pilipino – PILI at PINO”.
Launched by the Association of Human Resources Managers in the Hospitality Industry (AHRM) on the 27th of July, 2023 at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, the Mabuhay Awards is considered as the “Oscars” of the Tourism and hospitality industry recognizing and rewarding model employees in the industry and promoting outstanding service commitment.
AHRM is an Affiliate Member of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP) headed by President Greg de Garriz, concurrently a member of the HRAP Board of Directors.
26thMabuhayAwards – Front of the House Winner – Pamela Bathan of Seda Vertis North, Quezon City.
The Seda Group winners included Pamela Bathan of Seda Vertis North Hotel (FRONT OF THE HOUSE); Ryan Ernesto of Seda Capitol Central Business Hotel (SUPERVISOR) and Kerrwin Sanchez of Seda Ayala Center Cebu (HR Leader of the Year).
“Carol V. Valdez of Seda Centrio Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City was nominated as one of the 32 Finalists for the MANAGER Category, six of who belonged to the Seda Group including Ms. Carol,” said Maria Ruselle M. Legados, HR Manager of Seda Centrio Hotel.

Ms. Valdez has been Seda Centrio’s Director of Sales since March 17, 2014 and supervises seven (7) of the hotel staff. Her immediate reports are Seda Senior Group Director of Sales Melissa J. Carlos, and Seda Centrio Hotel Manager Rhett Villaruz.

Among the Ms. Valdez’s traits Seda Centrio cited in their endorsement to AHRM are her Integrity, Hospitality and Service, Patriotism, Resilience, Teamwork and Environmentalism.
