PHIVIDEC-IA breaks ground for 18-tower housing project

PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority recently broke ground with industrial partners for the construction of an 18-tower housing project under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program which is a priority program of President Marcos’ Administration.

The housing units will soon rise in Brgy. Sta. Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental inside the 3,000-hectare PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate.

RGJ Realty Corporation will construct 18 towers which will have 12 stories with 20 units each at 28 sq.m per unit, which shall be made available for qualified buyer beneficiaries.

This will cater to families of informal settler families, PHIVIDEC-IA employees, retired AFP Veterans, PHIVIDEC-IA locators, local communities, and qualified individuals who wish to avail themselves of the housing program.

PHIVIDEC-IA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the DHSUD on April 17, 2024 for the project.

The ceremony was led by PHIVIDEC-IA Administrator/CEO, Atty. Joseph J. Bernedo, and DHSUD Region 10 Director Ariel B. Abragan.

This was immediately followed by the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between PHIVIDEC-IA and RGJ Construction led by PHIVIDEC-IA Administrator/CEO, Atty. Joseph J. Bernedo and RGJ Realty Corporation Chairman Romeo G. Jalosjos.

The first tower is scheduled to be launched within this year as part of the year-long celebration of PHIVIDEC-IA’s 50th golden anniversary.
