BE Brewed is a dream come true for business-minded nurse and coffee lover Brieza and her younger brother Elbert, a barista.
It took ten years for Brieza to wait for her Elbert to graduate in HRM and eventually barista training before finally creating her own café.
And so Be Brewed was born and settled shop at the second level of KMV Building along Pabayo street this city in between Chavez and Hayes where they opened just a few days ago last March 13. (The “Be” in the brand stands for the first letters of the siblings’ names Brieza and Elbert.)
Be Brewed offers espresso, Americano, cappuccino, café latte, flat white, mocha, Spanish latte, caramel macchiato, salted caramel, hazelnut, vanilla, butterschotch, dirty matcha, toncipresso, Irish coffee, cold brew, white brew and mocha.
They also serve non-coffee items such as matcha latte, strawberry latte, chocolate, LGBT, house blend iced tea, fruit of the day and tea; as well as blended drinks such as double chocolate, mocha, matcha, dirty matcha, strawberry and Sakura.
Complement your drinks with comfort snacks while enjoying your stay at Be Brewed such as grilled cheese, cheese pesto panini, grilled chicken pesto panini, flat bread pizza, scampi, chicken pesto pasta, mozzarella balls, fries and salt and pepper wings. (Elbert knows how to cook well too owing to his HRM background and extensive local hotel and coffee shops experience.)
Also available at Be Brewed are cookies, coconut macaroons, fruit tart, vanilla creampuff, choco custard creampuff, fudge brownies, doughnuts, choco mousse cake and burnt Basque cheesecake.
Brieza emphasizes that Be Brewed promotes healthy eating due to her advocacy as a nurse as well as that of her husband who is a radiologist.
For those who opt to dine out, Be Brewed is available for curbside pickup too. Just dial 09958635744. Pretty soon, they’ll be available on Food Panda, Grab and Maxim.
Be Brewed is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays. They accept coffee catering in select intimate events such as weddings, birthdays and corporate gatherings. Just give them a call in the number posted above.
