Chief Labor and Employment Officer of the Cagayan de Oro City Field Office, Emmanuel G. Toledo, was given a plaque of appreciation for the help and support he gave in putting the JPB-PESO programs and services into place, which helped the Cagayan de Oro City Job Placement Bureau-Public Employment Service Office grow a lot.
DOLE-10 CDOFO has always helped its partner agencies put in place programs that would help a lot of Filipinos, especially those who work in the informal sector.
Through the JPB-PESO, DOLE was able to reach individuals from the barangays and other communities, like jobseekers, employers, students, out-of-school youth (OSY), migrant workers, persons with disabilities (PWDs), returning OFWs, displaced workers, researchers, and planners, as well as senior citizens and other government entities.
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is a multi-dimensional employment service institution or business that provides employment services without charging any fees. Apart from providing accurate information on the labor market and DOLE programs, the PESO aims to ensure rapid and effective implementation of job facilitation services. (DOLE-10/PIA-10)
