The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division showed its deep appreciation to various media partners through the semi-annual media fellowship 2022 at 4ID Headquarters Camp Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro City, on August 26, 2022.
With the theme “Sustaining Partnership, Building Bridges for Peace and Development” the 4ID recognizes the vital role of the media in the propagation of truth, dissemination of significant accomplishments of Diamond troopers and in the delivery of basic services to the people.
In his message, 4ID Commander MGen Wilbur C. Mamawag, who was represented by Col. Joel M. Paloma, the Assistant Division Commander, thanked media partners for being channels that connect 4ID troops to communities, turning its endeavors on paper into ones that truly cement long-lasting change.
Meanwhile, Mr. Frank Mendez, President of the Cagayan de Oro Press Club, said they are very grateful that the 4ID acknowledges their efforts as partners towards achieving peace and development.
Media partners who attended the activity received a Token and Certificate of Appreciation for their unwavering support and invaluable service to 4ID as a reliable partner in promoting accurate, timely, and relevant information that supports the Command’s programs, which significantly contributed to the accomplishment of 4ID’s mission.
