JE Hydro and Bio Energy Corp. kicked off last June 26, 2024, its official scholarship program aimed at supporting the educational aspirations of deserving students in Barangay Lusaran. This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering academic excellence and empowering the youth in our community.

About the Scholarship
Educational Advocacy will be centered on giving scholarships to qualified beneficiaries. Duration of the scholarship program is for their college education until graduation (with yearly review).
Fields of Study (exclusive to the following courses only) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Geodetic, Environmental, Chemical), Accountancy, Psychology, Human Resource Development & Management.
College schools applicable to the program — based on the student’s preference as long as they are within Cebu province. JE Hydro will coordinate with selected scholars in processing their school expenses (Tuition, allowance, etc.). Scholarship will be a full scholarship program covering full tuition fee, reasonable monthly allowance. Career opportunity at JE Hydro after graduation and passing of board examinations when applicable.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a resident or voter of Brgy. Lusaran. Community Background – no behavioral issues in the community. Family Background – belongs to the low income group. Student’s Academic Background Latest Report Card (GWA of at least 85%). No failing grade or any record of any form of disciplinary action.
Application Process
Will be done both online and at the JE Hydro LEC office where potential scholars will have to undergo Online Application Screening & Selection.
Scholarship Maintenance
The scholarship may be terminated due but may not be limited to, any of the following grounds:
Having a GPA of below 2.5 in the immediate past semester or in separate semesters; Shifting of course after the scholar’s second semester in the University; Continuous failure to attend required meetings, formation sessions, and community extensions activities without valid or justifiable reasons; Falsification and/or tampering of documents (e.g. school fee assessment and other school records); Engagement in criminal and/or any activity that may tarnish the name and reputation of the University or JE Hydro & Bio-Energy.
Required participation in JE Hydro’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities will help develop the scholars in community engagement and give them a better understanding of JE Hydro’s programs. Example: Kawayan Mission Tree Planting, Community Engagement, Etc. • Students will be asked to attend at least one activity per semester.
