A Cebu-based motivational author has recently launched his inspirational book targeted for teens aptly titled Back to the Start here in Cagayan de Oro City.
Available exclusively at Espressini Café inside Cagayan Town Center along Luna-Vicente Roa, Back to the Start discusses how to handle relationships and how to choose the right partner for life – indeed a timely companion in this season of love.
Authored by behaviorist Mark Saballa, the Cagayan de Oro leg of the book launch was spearheaded by the Special Education department of Fr. William Masterson Elementary School as part of their continuing outreach for parents of their students.
Gillian Bollozos, one of the SPED teachers at Masterson, said that their parenting program has evolved and has already expanded to reach out more people such as teens, thus the book launch here.
During the event held last January 29, Saballa held an impromptu session about relationships that are expounded in the book with the audience who are mostly composed of young SPED teachers and Education students from Xavier University.
Bollozos said they are targeting young adults, college and senior high students, young professionals, the LGBT community and other like-minded people to buy Back to the Start.
Espressini Café is indeed the right place for such a product since it is frequented by yuppie diners and urbanites from all walks of the metropolis in this part of Northern Mindanao.
