The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), has transported over 30 million COVID-19 vaccine doses across the country to date, hitting a new delivery milestone in time for the country’s three-day National Vaccination Days.
The Philippines observed the National Vaccination Drive on November 29, November 30, and December 1.
Since March, CEB has safely airlifted life-saving vaccines to 28 key areas: Bacolod, Boracay, Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Kalibo, Masbate, Naga, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, San Jose, Siargao Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Tawi, Virac and Zamboanga.

The airline has also transported over 16.5 million vaccine doses from China to the Philippines from April to July 2021.
“We are thankful to Cebu Pacific for bringing these much-needed vaccines. With your support, we are hopeful that we will be able to achieve our goal to inoculate 70% of our target population, eyeing daily vaccination of 10,000 for 25 days beginning this third week of November,” said Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno.
All vaccines were stored in containers with the established temperature limit to ensure that they are preserved until arrival at the designated stations.
“We are pleased to actively participate in helping drive the country’s immunization program. The timely delivery of vaccines across the Philippines aids in ensuring the safety of the Filipinos while promoting economic recovery,” said Alex Reyes, Chief Strategy Officer at Cebu Pacific.
CEB has attained a 100% vaccination rate for its active flying crew through its own employee vaccination program, JG Summit COVID Protect, and various partnerships with local government units in the country.
The airline has been rated 7/7 stars by airlineratings.com for its COVID-19 compliance as it continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety, in accordance with global aviation standards.
